The wiring harness that worked for me on my 2025 Tucson Limited Hybrid was part number CWF67-AC000 from OEMhyundaipartsoutlet.com. It cost $197.32 before taxes and shipping. You may be able to order from someone else but make that is the part number you use.

This is what the factory connector looks like:

This is what the correct harness looks like. The white connector goes to the OEM harness connection.

This thread has a lot of very useful information. Thank you all!

My question is: Should I bother looking behind the inside panel for prewiring before ordering CWF67-AC000? That is, is there any chance that the missing connector is hidden behind the cargo area side panel?
yes you can , but if you dont se the kick plug under ,you gone do like me by left inside panel .good luck

I would like to know if anyone knows the wiring pinout of the 2024 connector? I have a 2025 and the pinout of the new connector is right above in this thread straight from the OEM harness instructions but I cannot seem to find the pinout of the 2024 connector anywhere. I guess what I am trying to find out since the 2024 connector had 6 wires and the 2025 connector also has 6 wires are they the same? Trying to figure out if it is just a matter of making an adapter to mate the 2 plugs so folks could use the curt harness that worked in the 2024 Tucson for the 2025? The 2025 is can bus and I am not sure if the 2024 was can bus or not. I cannot find any documentation on it at all. Would really prefer to not have to spend the money on the OEM harness.

Thank you,

John

I have exactly that one in my 2025 Tucson SEL right at the center of the bumper as you shown.

I went for servicing the Tucson for another reason and asked them. They say it's the connector we're looking for connecting the trailer wiring.

I'm connecting a CURT 56420 Vehicle-Side Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness that I purchased already thinking the connector was at the left side.

I'll let you know how it goes

BTW, I'd already spoke with Tucson service about the lack of the connector, and they sent me the same procedure to open the left side panel in the luggage compartment as someone shared here previously.
So if this connector is the one we all are looking for it, then no even Hyundai service knows the connector is available already, but the genius that moved it is in sync with the product department, and that's why it's still published as available in all their marketing/sales info

I found only one of these connectors in the rear bumper of my 2025 SEL Plug-in, about 10 inches from center on the passenger side. Photos below show the location relative to my receiver, a closeup on the female connector, and the cap with pins. The two pin rows are separated by about 3.5 mm and the pins within a row are separated by about 3.2 mm. Four or five thin (likely 18 AWG or less) blue wires went to one row of the connector and similar black wires went to the other row. Since the caps pins within a row share a common piece of metal, the cap would seem to short all blue wires together and all black wires together. I’m doubtful this is a trailer harness connector based on the small wire gauge, shorting of wires by the cover, and absence of some other color wire to provide power to a controller/isolation module in the towing harness. Maybe for some kind of rear sensor my SEL doesn’t have?
