Little Things? At the risk of being a Big Thing, I'll offer the ride and overall suspension on this rig is noticeably good enough to continue impressing me. Rolling 20es not too long ago was a banner of the hoopie crowd, with disdainful looks and comments from the rodding gang regarding added strain on suspension and steering, along with terrible effects on cornering and performance driving. I didn't especially love the thought of them for all those reasons, but became mandatory as our build took shape.
For this SUV they've engineered the whole package perfectly. Solid tight feel without any negatives of bumps or thumps. Crisp level steering without the usual understeer 'plowing', and a 'planted' road feel from well-matched springs/shocks. All in all pleasant and safe feeling enough to continue to notice a year and a half in. And the road 'noise' is close to 'nope' so that conversation is easy at normal levels and just the reassuring tone of tires registering imperfect road conditions without the customary vibrations, squeaks and rattles.
Yep, a fanboy of the wife's ride.

You spoke of the ride, and I've got to admit, Hyundai came up with a pretty good combination here. I live on a rotten dirt road, Tuc. Go too fast and it'll rattle yer fillings out (yeah I've got a few). But the Hyundai is silent about such matters. The quiet in the cabin is quintessential. The luxo-liners could learn a thing or two.

Alrite so the dealier fixed the light issue.... and the veredict was.... the electronics of the car were on "shipping" mode ! So it seems that when tthe cars are shipped after being manufactured, the electronics are limited and decreased to just basics, and at some point that status has to be reoved to normal after arriving to their final destination. Even mechanics were having a hard time to figure it out. I guess is somethng that could happen only once!

Interesting, good thing there wasn't anything major that was disabled. Glad they got you from "shipped" to "delivered" (y)

Excellent info for future reference. Shipping mode shuts off access to the battery for some things including the alarm and obviously interior lights. Maybe more?

BTW, FTR, and FWIW, wife refuses to drive any vehicle I'm also in. And that includes whether or not there might be another passenger who could serve as a witness. The only thing I can figure is if we go careening off a cliff she wants it to be my fault.

Salesperson: Customer's here. Is the the PDI completed?
Service: Define "completed".

I found a little thing after owning for my 2022 Limited for 14 months- I was washing the car I always clean under the gas cover. This time it wouldn't open, I'm like WTF broken already.? turns out it locks with the doors, huh, cool!
Ha! I had no idea. Guess it's been unlocked every time I get out to fill up with gas. Missed that in my reading of everything in the manual. Good to know!

So much for your dealers pre delivery inspection, no?

Amazeballs! I've probably treated the wife's ride with more 'surprise fillups' as she's done herself. I'm both surprised and irked that the manufacturer wouldn't have installed an '80's technology door lock or even a simple pull lever inside to keep theives and pranksters at bay. Well, I feel a little better knowing they have. I'll check that out today, thx.

Little Things: I've come to appreciate that pretty much EVERYTHING on my HEV Limited is adjustable to suit the driver. Don't like the distance the Smart Cruise Control uses to follow the car ahead? You can change it. Driver's seat slides too far back when you open the door? Change it. Tiny wife can't reach the liftgate button to close it (when outside the car)? Change it. Rear seatbacks set too high? Change it. Audio seems to be coming mostly from the front speakers? Change it. And on and on...
As I've said on other threads, the User Manual is not well organized or user-friendly, but it's still worth the effort to dig into to really get the most out of your Tucson.

Make that x3 - on a '22 though. But unless they've gone and done a mid-model change and, "improved it til doesn't work anymore", then there should be no difference between the 2 model years. Curious, what other car would you be using as comparison?

Yeah, I discovered that in short order and don't like it! I prefer to lock my vehicle while I'm fueling, just a safety issue (keep any opportunist riff-raff-out while I'm otherwise occupied!). I tried opening the gas door THEN locking the car, but set the alarm off when closing the gas door after fueling! So, it's actually a 'feature' I REALLY don't like, and think is unsafe, maybe not mechanically, but as far as potential petty crime. Locking the car while fueling might save a LOT of hassle trying to explain why I had to shoot somebody... Until this vehicle, I've pretty much always locked my vehicle while refueling.

Sounds like you're living in a high carjacking area!

I lock my car every time after opening the gas door and never in 16000 miles has the alarm gone off. So something happened.

Thanks for the input, Tampa8. That was my recollection of what happened, but maybe I did something else to set off the alarm (not hard to do, it seems!). I didn't try it twice, or experiment further. With your reply, I'll certainly give it another try, and I hope I'm wrong! I thought the gas door would (or should) open simply by proximity to the FOB, that's what the sales guy told me. But (again, my perception) it wouldn't open unless my driver side door was unlocked, and after I locked it as you say, and fueled up, the alarm went off somehow (again, only tried this the one time). It's not unreasonable to expect to be able to lock my car while refueling.
