Welcome to the club :)

I'm gonna put on my mind reader hat and say it's one of these volt meters.

according to your experience at what maximum speed limit should the 2024 tucson speedometer be during the motor break in period ? no more than 40 or 45 mph ? and for how long should the motor break in period be ? another question should i fill the tank gas completly or should i let it a bit of space in the tank so that when it gets hot the gas has space to expand ???

The way I read the manual it's more about varying the RPM's than a MPH recommendation.
Here's a link to the online manual. Page 1-7 answers that question.

I have not worried about leaving extra space in the gas tank. The pump shuts off by itself. I usually go past that point, since I'm going to drive burn gas leaving the gas station.

If you get under the hood you might check this out. Some of us have installed the hood lift.

ok thanks by the way do you know if the approach lights in the exterior handles ara available on all trims or just the SEL and above ?

One little thing I really like is the "One Touch Turn Signal". I have it set to 5 flashes which seems just right to make a lane change or signal to exit the freeway. I don't have to remember to turn it back off with this feature. You just nudge the lever and you get your set number of blinks, 3, 5, or 7. I have a 2024 Hybrid Limited, so don't know if this is on all the trim levels.

the link says " This page could not be found. " what is the product or item ? do you have a name of it ?
Sorry 'bout that. I edited that post. I changed the link to a new supplier. Truth is, there are a bunch of sellers on Flea boy, all selling the same product for 4-10 bucks. It's just an inexpensive volt meter that plugs into the 12v outlet on the dash. CLICKY

Highly recommend any one of many versions of a voltmeter. The idea is not what it is reading compared to other cars per se. Like someone's temperature cars can vary some to what is normal for that car.
You watch over a period of time and see what it reads when you first turn on the ignition before starting, then right after starting, and as driving, Idling, etc.... Then every so often see if those numbers have dropped.

Then if you start to have problems, maybe some electronic gauges resetting, or a little harder to start, pay attention to what is then reading. Is it lower than usual when you turn on the ignition, not showing as high while driving, dropping more while idling? Would indicate a battery and/or charging problem.

Yah, fun to catch its starting number, watching how quickly & how high it climbs, then noting it at various times while driving. The wife gets out only a couple times a week and just around town. On one of the coldest days this year after setting undriven for a week the record is 15.02V, and a good 2 minutes to settle to normal (recalling ~13.5-14).

It's on my SEL Hybrid...and yes, it's very useful.

I mentioned this on other posts: there are a number of little things that Hyundai has provided that I've noticed... things to be thankful for. One of them is the sheer number of upgrades that come with the SEL package. Just barely above the SE (entry level) model of this car, the SEL adds a couple bucks but a lot of features, one of them being the electric lift gate: a nice touch.

I just finished mounting my trailer hitch, and was certainly appreciating the plug Hyundai provides near the bumper for this. Every Hyundai, I'm told, comes prewired for a trailer hitch: this saved me a lot of time. Add to that another nice touch: the Tucson has pre-drilled holes and threaded nuts already in place to mount a trailer hitch. No drilling needed. Amazing.

Then today it had just gotten dark, and I reached up to try to find the button that closes the automatic lift gate. And there it was, all lit up. I didn't realize it was lighted. Again: nice touch, Hyundai. The other day I was looking around the engine bay. Have you seen the air filter housing? I can pull the air filter in less than 5 seconds. What an ingenious design--I've never seen this on ANY vehicle before.

I've got a feeling that I'm not the only one: what little things have you all noticed?
I agree, also love the cameras that come on with turn signal, being in the city of Chicago is really helpful.

I can see this would be a great feature, IF I INDEED HAD IT. This did not come on my SEL model. One nice thing, seems that it would motivate folks to use their turn signals more often.

Noticed today what a wide range I have on my rear view camera. Once I click the car in reverse, I can see surprisingly well both to the left and right. Sure is nice when I'm backing out of my spot in a crowded parking lot.
--On another note, back on post #21, I mentioned that I found my lift gate button on the dashboard. It's been nearly a year since that day, and I don't think I've ever actually used it.

Yah, that dash button = Why?!? Let the dog out for a 'break' along the road? So kids can jump in after practice without putting it inPark? Let the wife load the groceries without interrupt you from streaming the game?

The convenience options are so absurd. And, I pushed it for the first time a few days ago. Just to make sure it worked, and that's one button that'll SAH never wear out.

Absurd? Several situations. Do you pick anyone up at the airport? We do often because everyone wants to come to Tampa in the Winter to visit. Getting out of the car at arrivals can be iffy with so much going on, and often there is a car right next to you. The people we are picking up may or may not know how to open and close the hatch, and may have their hands full, so rather than have them fumble while the airport police just wanting you to load and go, the button is terrific, no need to dig out the fob from my pocket. (And not sure the fob will open the hatch with the car running, it won't unlock doors)

We have a hazardous materials drop off with designated days. You are in a line of cars, and some days you are not permitted to get out of the car and get near the hazardous materials being dropped off. Like at the airport rather than someone trying to find the button or touch everywhere with dirty hands I open and close the tailgate for them.

That's one of many situations.

I been to Tampa, and it's a real city. The little burg I live in you'll likely find folks with a small grille going while waiting for kin to arrive. And Haz-Mat? We been living with by-products of the The Manhattan Project since the War.... and we like it ! No big woop.

Seriously, I see it for some folks and situations, just that there's already two buttons on the tailgate to open it. 3 is used, "Not so much" in our case.

Only one on the tailgate if the car is running or doors are unlocked - or you don't have the fob. Which reminded me of yet another time I use the one on the dash. My wife will come out of the clothing store while I am in the car and wants to put things in the trunk. She could put somethings down and open the hatch, I could get out to open the hatch, but the #1 way is to use the dash button...
