Ok, thanks! My interest would probably lie in Android Auto navigation and either car radio or Android music split. I guess I'll just have to find a Tucson to test drive with Android Auto keyed up unless someone else has tried it.
No, I can't find any way of displaying both those at the same time. You can have Tucson navigation and car radio or Android radio as shown here Showing playin an MP3 play from my phone):

But as soon as you go over to Android for the maps, you are stuck with this (showing Google maps with the play below):

If you expect to have Google maps on the left part of split screen and other Android app ( music, etc.) on the right part of split screen - then, I am sorry to say, you won't be able to do it - at least, as of now, with the current/latest software version (Nov 2021). There are multiple combinations available and I tried and number of them and best option that I use for myself is to switch/alternate Android output screen between Google maps and music app on the main screen (left part), while small screen on the right displays whatever options you pre-configured ( see a few screenshots below)

That's interesting. I don't even get that onthe RH side. See my picture above. If I have Google Maps on the LH side, I just get "Android Auto" on the right. How did you get more (I have the Feb 22 update on my Hybrid)?

Check your car settings under "Setup" - "Screen Layout Settings" - "Split Screen" - you may not checked anything in there - to enable some or all options available to you ( see below)

Perhaps ApplePie Mini is a solution to this. Has anyone tried it?

I think this feature - split screen - is strictly driven by the Tucson software and, most likely, it doesn't matter whatever device you use/connect - it won't allow you to achieve your end goal. If it was driven/based on output from the device itself, then you should be able to establish split screen on the device and then project output to the full screen of the infotainment center. This is just my understanding but I may be wrong.

This is correct, Hyundai needs to update the software to allow for fullscreen Android Auto. However, split screen should happen once you enable the setting in your Hyundai settings itself.
You should then have an arrow on the right side of the screen. Once you click that, you can scroll through the apps that can be displayed on the right side.

My understanding from previous discussions was that Apple AirPlay worked fullscreen, which would make ApplePie Mini a potential solution to our fullscreen issue. If someone using Apple could confirm fullscreen, it'd be worth a shot to try ApplePie Mini!

I really would like to know if ApplePie Mini fixed that. Haven't found someone who has tried the interface.
Well, someone has to spend almost $300 for non-certified by Apple (and neither by Google) device that is not even sold by known/big retailer names ( Amazon, for one) on US market - thus, high risk of not being able to return it back, if it does not work as expected or for whatever reason. I would not take such risk.
However, I ordered from Amazon OTTOCAST https://www.amazon.com/OTTOCAST-Car...TTOCAST-CarPlay-Multimedia-Wireless-Download/dp/B09V7CNMRX?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 and when it arrives in a few days, I can report if it works reliably via wireless Android Auto and if it does work - it would be nice if I get full screen and split screen as currently iPhone CarPlay allows. And if it does not - I will return it back to Amazon.

I don't think it will make any difference. Android Auto doesn't do full screen on the Tucson and this device won't change that. But I am prepared to be convinced otherwise (with photos).:):)

You can get the same device on Amazon, though they do not call it that directly:
(Exploter is the maker.)

Your linked device would serve the same purpose if I'm reading the jumbled description correctly - I did not know there were other options. ApplePie Mini is the one I had heard about only. It's just a generic device based upon the description but hopefully it works! Please report back!

The point of the device is that it connects via AirPlay, so the idea is that it would go fullscreen since the car head unit sees it as an Apple device. I just am unsure how the interchanging of formats works on the device (i.e. is there lag, does the interface change, etc.).

I hear you:)...I have chosen this particular model because description states(claims) that internally it runs on iOS and, just based on that, I hope that while communication between my Android Phone and OTTOCAST would be via Android OS, the next hop - communication between the OTTOCAST and Tucson interface would be via iOS...and that part - wired, perhaps, works exactly as most of us would like it to...

I think this is the UK equivalent:
