I have had the exact same experience with my new Tucson L. Waiting for it to be fixed.
It's has been a week now, still waiting on parts. They said that 3 of the injectors were bad. We sat in the dark for 7 hours on an Interstate hwy. waiting for the tow truck. Had to pay a taxi to take us home two hours away.

Wow, that's really a shame you had to fork out all that money for a taxi. Guess I'm lucky like that. I've got at least a half dozen friends that would have been very upset with me if I didn't call them to come and pick me up. Can't even imagine what a taxi would cost for distances like that. Sure would be nice if Hyundai volunteered to reimburse your taxi bill.
On another note, just curious, which injectors failed, the ones doing the direct injection or the ones doing the port injection? Did they tell you?

Thanks for your reply. Still waiting for the parts and the full report. I'm 78, most of my friends that are still alive are elderly. Asking them to drive 4 hours at night is too much. I've have opened a case with Hyundai customer service. They will reimburse all of the added costs.

Keep us posted on your progress Mr. P. Sad that many post questions to the forum, but don't provide the rest of the story once it's fixed and the questions are answered. Let us know how this goes for ya.

Over 12k and Zero issues so far with my tucson hybrid which was purchased in Canada.

Ignorance is bliss. Just bought my 2023 Limited Tucson 2.5 and I'm going on a road trip this weekend. Sigh, so now I'll be butt clinched the whole way waiting for the injectors to fail.

Hi all. Latest entrant to the fuel injector problem. My Tucson 2023 N line stopped accelerating on 401 W here in Ontario at 9 PM on 4th June. It's about 100 km from my home in Toronto. Obviously none of the dealerships were open at that time. The tow truck had to leave it at the gate. I booked a hotel overnight as I wasn't sure if any rentals were open that late and I had a toddler with me. The dealership guys were good. Rental was arranged within 30 minutes. But the problem is it seems fuel injector and related parts are back ordered. They giving a tentative timeline of July! I am beyond furious now. Is that the case with everybody? Or did you guys get the parts soon enough? I am scared about winter road trips (it's Canada!) 🤐

They only replaced two of the injectors. Why not just replace all of them since it was a full day job removing the intake manifold and related parts. I'm not at all confident about the remaining injectors. We liked the car but now, not so much. It was very unnerving to lose power on a busy interstate at night and waiting seven hours for tow. It has been two weeks and we are still waiting for them to deliver it. Too much stress for a couple of old people.

2023 Tucson bought new in February 2023. On Tuesday June 13, with 5250 miles, the car lost power and died while driving in to work. Had to have it towed to dealership over an hour away. No loaner cars available, luckily the tow truck was headed home my way and I was dropped off at home. Didn't hear from the dealer on Tuesday so called them Wednesday. The car has a bad injector. 3-5 business days to get a new one. Was told this would qualify for a rental car since they didn't have any. They gave me Hyundai Customer Service. I called and was told they would elevate me to a case manager and I should expect to hear back in 3-5 business days. Really? I pressed on the rental and she admitted that it should be covered but I would have to discuss with the case manager. After reading about all the other problems, I'm not feeling very confident with this car. On the positive side, I put all weather radials on it and its the best handling snow vehicle ive ever had. I live in the snow belt of upstate NY off lake Ontario.

Hi, My 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited is 3 months old now, all of sudden stopped on high way and didn't start at all. Towed the car to Hyundai dealer and after 2 days got a call saying that "Fuel Injector" failed, upon asking more questions service guy told me that it my be due to bad fuel or some debris in fuel injector. Is anyone faced this issue ? its a new car and i am not confident to take it on long drive now :( Thanks in advance
Same thing happened to me - 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe (1 year old - 9000 miles). Trust me ... does not have anything to do with the gas you're using!

Has anyone had to replace the backup light lens assembly? Someone hit me in a parking lot, so I ordered one for $80ish dollars and thought I would just swap it out. Looks like might have to remove the whole back bumper to get to the screws that hold the assembly in place. This is for the passenger side one if it makes a difference.

Thanks for any and all suggestions

Hello We have had that same issue with our 2023 N Line Tucson. We had ours towed back to the dealership and they worked on it for over month waiting on parts. They said it was the fuel line & injectors. I asked if this has happened with other vehicle's and they said it was just a incident and hadn't heard of any in their area. We looked into it and it wasn't just a incident. Were happy to get the car back. Today we get the car back maybe a week if that much and as she was driving to work. The vehicle won't won't shift out of gear, oil light is on, check engine is on, diagnostic panel says engine management system problem. We have never had an issue with Hyundai vehicle's before and now this I'm starting to regret buying this car. It's a really nice car. But it's not worth the headache. I also worry about taking it out of town. Thomas

Sorry to revive an old thread but just got reverse and turn bulbs today and they work well, no CANBUS issues and are a great deal, took about 2 weeks to get here.
Be sure to order these in Amber and in the 1156 BAU15S PY21W (the BAU version has the locking pins in a 150 degree space, the BA version has 180degree and won't work)
And the reverse bulbs.
If you want LED cargo bulbs and an extra cargo fixture to mount on the opposite side of the cargo area they got that too! I will be posting a DIY matching cargo light install soon.
For these you want 31mm in white or warm white depending what you prefer.
And the matching fixture
All the above comes out around $22 shipped to your door :)

I bought turn sig., rev., cargo and dome lights for mine. Those reverse bulbs made quite a difference for my car. Not sure if we got the same ones, but hey... anything is an improvement over those ridiculous incandescent OEM bulbs.

I haven't rec'd the 31mm cargo bulbs yet so I can't confirm that they're CANBUS compliant, but ordered another set from Temu (just to get free shipping for some stuff my wife saw, lol) that were listed as CANBUS flicker-free, so I've got backups :)

Yes! Annoying other people on the road is something I am definitely interested in. There are a plethora of peoples on the road in my area that need that.

Well, basically everyone
Lol. Hopefully everyone understands annoying, I mean only to the extent the turn signals or back up lights are easily seen.... a little annoyed insures they are seeing it.
