I hope it works out, you know how dealers make promises,it was my #3 on my list, gas mileage not great but 90 % of my driving is within Ev range and the heat pump is a great additional feature, the Outlander will allow me to go full Ev in the next two years, maybe then there will more Ev vehicles to choose from with Better batteries and range. Hoping everyone gets their vehicles this year. I will update my progress.

What colour (Ext/Int) did you order?

I was #10 in January 2023 waiting for the Red one (ordered in November 2021)

SO I sent a message to my sales guy and he said he was going to tell me later today, but...

My car is also built and is on it's way!! 4-6 week is the delivery timeline as well

He's off today, but will get me more details tomorrow (I want that VIN lol).

So much for the Curse of Crimson Red! Dare I hope?

I just sent an email off to my saleswoman, asking for an update, but since it is 10 minutes until quitting time for her, I don't expect to hear anything until tomorrow at the earliest.

I put a deposit on a 2023 Tucson Ultimate HEV (Amazon Grey/Grey Int.) in late October and was told June 2023. Got a call from the dealer here in Quebec saying there would be a Black/Grey Int one available in March if I was interested. Really want the one I ordered, so I passed on it. He was thankful and said he was sure it would find a good home.

Anyone else take what they were offered instead of holding out for what you originally wanted?

I am very impressed by the waiting time....I am assuming Oct 2022 to June 2023, and they've already offered you something for March?!?!??!?! Wow.
I've been waiting since Dec 4, 2021, so I am already at 14 months. Still nothing from my dealer or Hyundai for that matter. latest email came 2-3 months ago stating 1st quarter of 2023 build time.

Yeah, the sales guy told me it was AT LEAST another 12 months for PHEV…with my job in sales I had range anxiety and didn’t want to go the whole way just yet.
Hope it starts to loosen up and we all get what we want soon…

At last, at last, my dealer informed me that my 2023 Tucson Ultimate PHEV, crimson red exterior, black interior, ordered November 19, 2021, last known priority status number 74, has been built and is on the boat. He said they expect it to reach Calgary some time between the end of March and the end of April, but also said they don't know much about where it is until it reaches Alberta. (Seems like a pretty long time for shipping — 12 weeks at the outside.) No VIN available yet.

I also found out that my saleswoman is no longer with the dealership, which would explain why my emails have been going unanswered for a couple of months.

I am taking the rev. wife out to dinner tonight to celebrate.

Congrats! That's great to hear. I guess a bunch of our cars are on the same boat.

It is odd your delivery timeline is so long.

i got official confirmation with VIN from my sales guy.

End of Feburary or early March for delivery

The sales manager admitted that he was not certain at all about the shipping timeline. He said he didn't have access to detailed information about it. Could be a case of expectations management.

It's also curious that he said he did not have VIN available, when @KevinL said that he was told his VIN. But I will take whatever good news I can get. And I am keeping my Outback order active until I drive the Tucson off the lot.
