@Hastywriter seeing as you seem to be noting when the vehicle arrived at the dealership, FYI mine arrived Aug 12th (we were out-of-town, so couldn't take delivery until Aug 20th).

Thanks for taking the effort to track/publish all this for everyone's benefit! (y)
Updated the above table. Thanks @222cson waiting for this to reach critical mass so it works as an indicator for others as well.

ok
$2700 +hst
Gives you drivers memory seats and power pass one -could be valuable option for families

Surround camera is good no questions

And 2” larger monitor with NAV ( not sure is there any paid subscription ) also plus

But all other options are toys incl blind spot monitors inside tachometers which I believe only distract attention
Plus ultimate trim
Removes wireless CarPlay which is substantial

Actually, given the reported problems with wireless CarPlay and the fact my phone case prevents wireless charging, I'm more than happy to plug in.

But regardless, I fully understand that different people ascribe "value" differently.

Just ordered an Amazon Grey HEV Ultimate (2022) for my wife, with expected delivery in late March, but, since we'll be in Florida until April, she doesn't care! I have a 2020 Palisade Ultimate, which is fantastic. Our son has an Elantra Ultimate, so she was jealous that she didn't have the digital dash, SVM, etc. We traded her 2015 Sonata.
Question for those who already have their Tucson...does the gap behind the 2nd row warrant a Cargo Cover. I have one in the Palisade and use it all the time. I see a couple online for a good price.
Also, I'll be ordering TuxMat Floor and Cargo liners. I have them in the Palisade and they are far superior to the Hyundai Products. It's a Canadian company in Toronto and the mats are MUCH cheaper, with free delivery!

Congrats on your order and welcome to the forum - seems like you're quite the Hyundai family! Crazy that the lead time is now 5 months! When we ordered late May and didn't get it until late Aug, 3 months seemed long. As I'm also in Ottawa, I'm curious about which dealer you used ... we dealt with a couple and certainly have impressions to share - DM me if you like.

Our HEV Ultimate came with a retractable (& removable) cargo cover ... pretty sure they all do, so no need for you to purchase one. In fact, the car is designed to accommodate its storage beneath the cargo floor, if it's positioned in its higher setting.

I have the OEM cargo liner as I negotiated to acquire it at cost (quoted $52 +tax), and am quite happy with it. I did buy the TuxMat front/rear set which just arrived yesterday so I have yet to install them. Someone on a competing forum has posted pics of them installed, if you're interested. (I'll stop short of posting a link here since it'd be considered poor form!)

Another worthy upgrade is changing the rear turn signal and reverse lights to LED; purchased online for about $50 CAD all-in, and only a 15 min DIY install.

Our other add-ons include trailer hitch/harness, roof rack, 19" winter tires (with steel wheels & TPMS), a top tray for the centre console and mud flaps; if you have any questions, feel free to ask! Hopefully, we can share info going forward!

After being a BMW family for years, we went to Genesis and now Hyundai for more reliability and better pricing.

That's good to know about the cargo cover. It's not listed in the specs, however. The dealer may have thrown it in. I'll wait and see in April.

I bought from Hyundai on Hunt Club (both vehicles). I had no luck dealing with Myers in Barrhaven. My son bought his Elantra there however, but he overpaid, I felt.

They said delivery MIGHT be Feb. or March, and if it is, they'll just hold it until April.

Yes, I changed the non-LED bulbs in my Palisade and will do so in the Tucson.

The TuxMat install is VERY easy and fits better. I didn't even need the clips that they included. Right now the cargo tray is not in stock at TuxMat, but I'm waiting until April to order anyway.

Thanks.

What a coincidence - same with us ... 2012 BMW X1 and 2016 BMW 340i xDrive, 6spd (which replaced my 2008 335xi)!

Our X1 met with a premature/unfortunate end in May, which is why we now have the Tucson. (I still have my 2016 340i.)

It's hard to deny the value in this 2022 Tucson Hybrid, given its able performance, luxury/refinement, safety/tech and low cost (and no premium gas - woohoo!) with a long warranty to boot! My only concern, this being my first Hyundai is, its rigor and reliability in the long term ... will the engineering in it stand the test of time, with respect to maintenance and sustained performance?

Would appreciate any perspective/experiences from you and other long-time Hyundai owners.

Hi All,

My first post.

Ordered mine Oct 27, deep sea blue, HEV Luxury, and I am already anxiously waiting for my update emails...since i am now down to 1 car and sharing it with other family members, this waiting sucks!

I am in the GTA area.
Welcome to the group! I know what you mean … we were down to 1 car for 3 months, no roof rack for the kayak and no trailer hitch for the bikes or Waverunner during the critical summer months! We finally got it late Aug to enjoy those capabilities for a short while before it was time to close up the cottage.

This might be cold comfort but our HEV Ultimate was worth the wait, so hang in there!

Just stumbled upon this forum, some good info, thanks!

Put a deposit down 2 weeks ago on a Tucson Ultimate PHEV; North of GTA. Not clear on delivery yet, told 'spring' - possibly earlier depending what dealer gets sent.

Was reading notes about the extras above - I will look into those Tuxmats - are they winter mats, or year round? Have WeatherTech ones for winter in my old Outback.

Also curious to hear other people's experience with adding roof racks and hitch - bought through Hyundai or elsewhere? Definitely adding roof racks for skis and considering a hitch for bike rack.

Thanks.

Looks like you didn't see in the pic I posted

Hello Guys,
Ordered my Tucson Ultimate PHEV on October 20th, 2021. I am told production date is March 2022 and delivery date is within 3 months after production. I am told 5 to 8 months wait.
Ordered at Hyundai Openroad Richmond BC.
They are the only dealership with the PHEV for test drive, the sales person told me if they got that model in for test this year I might get mine sooner than the date given.
